Arizona Memorial Jumbo Postcard measuring 6 inches by 11 inches.
The USS Arizona Memorial, located at Pearl Harbor, Hawai'i, marks the resting place of over 900 of the 1,177 officers, sailors, and Marines killed on the USS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 by Japanese naval forces and commemorates that day. Accessible only by boat, the memorial straddles the sunken hull of the USS Arizona without touching it. The Shrine Room displays the names of the 1,177 service members that perished on the ship. Carved into the sides of the memorial is the Tree of Life, a universal symbol of renewal.
