FLAGS Flags purchased through our online bookstore have been flown over the USS Arizona Memorial. Included in the cost of the flag is an 8.5” x 11” Certificate of Flag Presentation suitable for framing. Please be sure to include the name(s) to be inscribed on the certificate (for military personnel please list Rank, Rate, Full Name, & Date of Service). To request a flag to be flown on a specific date, please submit your order no later than 2 weeks prior to the date, but no more than 2 months in advance. You may request a flag that has been previously flown on holidays like Memorial Day, 4th of July, 11th of September or 7th of December (Pearl Harbor Day). Just list “Any Date” in the order comments section. The USS Arizona Memorial is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, therefore no flags can be flown on those dates. Generally, nylon flags are suitable for flying while cotton flags are more appropriate for presentation. Flags are made in the USA.
